To get started

You need to be at least 17 to start learning to drive and have a valid provisional license before you take your first driving lessons. Complete a D1 form from the post office and send it to the DVLA (DVLNI in Northern Ireland) with your passport or birth certificate, and a passport-sized photo. You can also apply online via the governments own website direct.gov.uk

How many lessons will you need?

Your instructor will advise you on how many lessons you may need after your first lesson. The current average is 45 hours of tuition (Driving Standards Agency average, 2006), with 22 hours of private practice. We only offer a Two-hour lesson programme we believe this helps you learn faster.
